Through this work, he has witnessed the shortcomings of these institutions firsthand. Despite a strong need for funding, Africa is the most expensive corridor for money remittances. Equal parts impact entrepreneur and seasoned litigator, Uzoma Eze is the driving force behind AiDEMONEY’s vision. His purpose-driven ethos ensures the company maximizes progress, while his legal background breaks down any barriers to safe, secure transactions. Uzoma pairs his professional experience and bold advocacy with “on the ground” partnerships spanning Nigeria’s leading NGOs and financial institutions. The result? A leadership approach that delivers efficiency, profitability and purpose.
Before launching AiDEMONEY, Uzoma spent nearly two decades on the leading edge of finance, accounting, tax and law practice. He founded Eze Law after beginning his career at prestigious firms including Ernst & Young and Shearman & Sterling. An advocate for equality under the law, Uzoma has successfully defended numerous diaspora clients in IRS and Department of Justice investigations—experience that provides rich insights into the money remittance landscape.
With a track record spanning Sub-Saharan Africa, Felix Akompi is the ideal leader to spearhead AiDEMONEY’s global operations. He leverages in-depth market expertise, an impact mindset and keen strategy to transform the company’s vision into tangible, sustainable progress. A tactical entrepreneur, Felix oversees areas critical to the company’s growth, including technology, adoption, logistics and global execution.
Felix brings decades of experience to AiDEMONEY’s Chief Operating Officer role. As Managing Director of EnergieRow, a global commodity trading firm, he has unmatched knowledge of financing and logistics in Africa—and a passion for progress across the continent. Before founding EnergieRow, he held leadership roles at organizations including Shell, J.P. Morgan and SI Ventures, a private equity platform focused on Sub-Saharan Africa. A U.S. Army Veteran, Felix serves on numerous fintech and nonprofit boards, each reflecting his commitment to sustainable impact.
